My Story

 

My name is Alma, and I am a certified Health & Wellness Coach, and a Certified Plant-Based Nutritionist.

 

I have a background in chemical engineering, but my love for music has led me to my current job working as a Music Publicist. Next to music, my biggest passion has always been the natural approach to Health and Wellness.

 

In the past 10 years I've been constantly learning about Health and Wellness, and this knowledge has led me to change my life: I've lost weight and kept it off, balanced my hormones and digestion, overcome anxiety and depression, improved my skin and hair, etc.

 

This all happened because I figured out that in order for us to be truly healthy and happy, all four aspects of our wellness - nutrition, mindset, body and spirit - have to be balanced and work together. I wanted to share this knowledge with people around me, and got certified in many different health & wellness areas. With A Wellness Revolution Coaching Course, I was able to bring everything I learned together and got officially certified as a Health & Wellness Coach in early 2019.

In my work as Health and Wellness coach, I approach everyone as a unique individual. I don’t believe that one type of diet, mindset or spiritual practice works for everyone. I want to get to know the person in front of me and create a custom-made lifestyle plan that is unique to them. This is the only way you will get results, and be able to sustain them for a longer period of time.

 

Here are some examples of reasons why you might want to work with me as your coach:

 

  • You can’t lose/gain weight no matter how hard you try, and you want to figure out why;

  • You would like to take the first step towards healthy diet, but don’t know where to start;

  • You would like to know which of the nutrition lifestyles (paleo, keto, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian) works best for you;

  • You want to start an exercise plan, but don’t know where to start or what works best for your body;

  • You want to ease the chronic health issues you’ve been having your whole life (allergies, hormone imbalance, insulin resistance, leaky gut, PMS, etc);.

  • You are constantly stressed out, or in the middle of a very stressful period (exams, work stress, travel,) and want to know how to ease it;

  • You can’t sleep and/or are always tired, and want to know how to fix it;

  • You are anxious and depressed, and want to start doing something about it;

  • You don't know which career path to pursue, and want to figure out your purpose in life.

  • You have relationship issues, with your significant other, friend, colleague, and want to take the first step towards solving it.

  • You want to start a mindfulness practice.

  • etc.

 

You can see me as a personal trainer, but instead of training just your body, I can help you train all the aspects of your life and support you on your way to achieve your full potential in diet, health, relationships, finances, friendships and spiritual growth.
